Just unpacked my £125 Tesco online shop. All present and correct but I had bought 4 boxes Finish powerballs, thinking they were buy one get one free. I was actually thinking of going back to powder to save money but thought Wow! a saving of £13.56 on a purchase of four boxes. I had miscalculated the date of delivery, the offer actually starts tomorrow. My mistake, I know but since the offer has a big yellow, red and blue flash saying 'Buy one get one free' and the relevant line is highlighted in red, it's a mistake anyone in a hurry could make. I phoned Tesco and they explained that while they do flag up any offers which will have expired before your delivery date, they regard it as your responsibility to check the commencement date. Apparently I can take the items back to my local store. Might just do that and go back tomorrow and buy them back for half the price, incognito (cash + don't use Clubcard..)So much for shopping online to avoid the temptations in store :mad:
