will going on an open uni 60 credit course affect my ESA benefits?

well as the title says will it affect my esa benefits?
i am on the "support group" rate.
i have no idea if i can go on a course with this rate of benefit. i have been on a few college course in the past but i failed to complete any of them because i could not cope in that kind of learning enviroment (i went to a small school for kids with health issues like my own) and since hearing of the open university i thought i might give it a go but i'm not sure how the dwp will react to this as mental illness and mild learning difficulties are the reason to my claiming esa in the first place.
Thanks very much for any help!:)

As I understand it, partaking in an OU course doesn't affect benefits as I think it's deemed to be self-study almost? (Or something like that).
I'm sure someone with more knowledge will be along soon.
Good luck with the course. I've registered to do one and mine starts in Feb.
