Help With Business Use Insurance

Hello,

I am a full-time employee, however every Tuesday i go on a day release to train for my qualification.

I have been reclaiming Mileage however Admin have told me i need to change my insurance so that it covers business use.

Is this a business use?! Also should my work pay for the extra on my insurance? as its covering their end rather than mine??

most insurance covers "social,domestic and pleasure" PLUS travel to and from work(but not travelling around for work purposes)i`d say that travelling somewhere else to do your job once a week falls in the former not the latter,you could of course speak to your insurer for clarification
