More laptop keyboard problems...

Hard to describe this accurately, but here goes...

When i switch on my laptop it seems that the 'v' key is sticking and typing lines and lines of 'v's when I open Word. It stops if you press delete a few times but then starts up again at random times. When it's not generating loads of 'v's the v key doesn't work as you type normally and some other keys on the left side of the keyboard don't produce capital letters when you hold down the shift key whilst others do. So annoying! :mad: Any ideas on what's wrong would be appreciated. Hope it makes sense to someone!

It sounds like the switch under that letter isn't cleanly activating. I'd take it apart, clean the contacts, vacuum out all the grit and dust, then hope it'll all fit back together!
