I'm after advice on this investment. Above graph shows the sectors it is invested in.

Risk attitude: Medium
I'm simply after your thoughts and opinions.
I will start investing small amounts, either 500 lump sum or 50 monthly to begin with.

Are you after advice, or thoughts and opinions?
I'd advise a good look at the factsheet, and at the FE data on Trustnet.I am an IFA, but nothing I say on this forum constitutes financial advice. Always draw your own conclusions and always do your own research.0 -
Oops I guess I should have included this: (Fund Factsheet Uk alpha Trust)

And I'm just after thoughts and opinions. Shoot away.
This would be very long term, like I would do with a pension.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
It's 88% invested in UK smaller companies, including Aim stocks:

What other funds do you hold (if any) and how does this fit into your overall asset allocation?
I don't hold it and am not familiar with it but drip feeding would make sense given the volatility."The happiest of people don't necessarily have the
best of everything; they just make the best
of everything that comes along their way."

This seems to be a fund that achieves what its name suggests. Beyond that, we know nothing about your age, circumstances, existing portfolio, earnings, lifestyle and so on. I would also compare it to MFM Slater Growth, Jupiter UK SS, Franklin Templeton UK Select Growth and M&G Recovery who compete at least in the same sector. Personally I hold at times Marlborough Special Sits.
Good luck!0
