AK think if its worth paying £99 for sky protect service?
currently we have an old Sky box and HD box with multi room.
The old sky box does give some problems but sky would not change last year.
(also whats the cheapest way to get another HD box?)

No, it's not ever worth insuring Sky kit. You can either buy your own, (eBay) or ring up and say you'll have to cancel your sub as you can't afford to replace the box-you will invariably be offered a service call and a refurb.
The standard (non HD) boxes and Sky+ boxes are practically given away now (freegle, car boot sales, etc).No free lunch, and no free laptop

We did this as our old dish was rusting and affecting our signal, resulting in the Sky HD box packing up. We got a new dish and HD box for nothing and a free engineer visit to fit it. We were told by Sky they would do allof it for free as we'd been with them more than 10 years. :TIn deep...0 -
And a dish install can cost less than £99 anyway. No free lunch, and no free laptop
