PPI Claim from AA personal finance

Hi,
looking for some advice.
I took out a loan from AA finance in March 2004. I cannot remember the amount but it was £409 pm over 7 years. I paid off the loan in November 2005 (£19,800) and I remember thinking the settlement figure was very high (it was due to PPI payment).
I took the loan out over the internet and someone came to my home to sign the paperwork. The PPI was not discussed at all when I signed and I get life and sickness benefits through my employment.
Does this look like a possible claim?
I do not have the paperwork or account number which I believe might be needed for the claim.
Before I go any further - any advice?

Hi and welcome
Yes that is a possible complaint/reclaim.
If they just added it and it was not dicussed with you etc, and they obviously did not give you the opportunity to say no, or explain that you already had/have sufficient cover with your employer.
If you want to make a reclaim with your reasons, just complete the reclaim questionnaire as shown on step 3 below, and send to the business head office or complaints dept (of whoever sold you the product), and save copies for yourself as well, good luck.

Write to the AA and enclose a £10 cheque or p/o and ask for all info they hold on you,as this was a while ago they may not find it though, but you wont know untill you try,did you pay this by dd and have internet banking/if you do,go onto your dd list and it may still be there, this will have the account number.0
