Hi there,
I was wondering if anyone can help.
I'm about to be made redundant and i think it will be definite in the next couple off weeks so i will be unemployed. I'm just trying to find out a) if I will receive an increase in tax credits, b) when the increase will happen.
Currently we receive aprox £41 per month in tax credits. I earn £11,000 annually(working 20 hours pw) and my husband earns £25,000 annually (working 40 hours per wk). When I'm jobless the only income we will have is my husbands £25,000 inc tax. I can't really get an answer from the calculate as to how much we will receive once i'm unemployed as it runs from April 2010 - April 2011 and my salary in that time was aprox 11,000. Can anyone help? Thanks
