Which cards approve online

Which cards do you know of that offer instant approval online,

I know of Marbles and Egg and Accucard,

Well I got an instant decline from Sainsburys a few weeks ago. And egg.

Citibank said OK though, but I didnt get an immediate yes, but Im not sure if thats normal or not.

I have two credit cards, Halifax One one on 0% which ends in April. I need to transfer to another 0% soon. I Also have an Abbey card with a small balance outstanding of £3.72.

I recently applied online for the Virgin card but they turned me down. I know my credit history is excellent so why would they refuse me.

When I filled in the application I made an error when they asked what balance I had outstanding so I send off another application.

My credit limit on the Abbey card is £3000 with the amount available to spend being £3.86. This is were the error was made, when they asked me my balance outstanding I put down £2996 but I think I should have put down £3.72. Would this be the reason for turning me down?
