Started Xmas shopping and got a nice surprise when i went to argos to get a bracelet for my niece and instead of £19.99 (which it said in the catalogue) it was £15.99!
Got my argos value tree- 6ft- £9.99
Got Xmas cards from Morrisons- they were half price, so got 60 cards for £3 instead of £6 (still expensive, but they were glittery and pretty!!) and advent calendars- 2 for £3.0 -
TODAY:
1. drinking only herbal tea today in an effort to use up my cupboard full of different teas
2. did online MrT shop for 2moz AM - used my vouchers up and took out loads of items that I don't really need and swapped some pricier ones for cheaper brands - only spent £21.21.
3. avoiding going to local shop to buy some snacky bits - just sticking to what's in the cupboard - hope i can last the day!!
4. trf £10.10 into my VSP (£5 from this month's bank account reward and £5.10 from balance)
5. looked again at my spending needs for rest of the month and planning how I can save some more money next month towards £3K challenge
6. used up loyalty points at an online shop on item I really want for a project - only needed to pay postage - yay
7. listed some more bits on eBay
8. instigated an eBay dispute for an item that's not fit for purpose with unco-operative seller
9. put on several layers but gave in with heating - it's now on very low!!
10. put marzipan advent into my eBay basket then decided the £20+ cost with p&p could be better spent so removed it! But I do so love marzipan....0 -

Evening all !
Thankfully its Friday - its been the week from hell - I literally haven't stopped!
Happy birthday Determined - older and wiser:beer:
Not a very good moneysaving day I'm afraid...
I caved in on the way home from walking the dog and bought chips and a bottle of wine for tea - I really can't be bothered today with cooking
On the positive side..- I forced myself to take lunch to work
- Managed to get through the week, just:T
- Checked the bank - no surprises
- Phoned mum with free mins whilst walking the dog
- Will write a meal plan and shopping list for tomorrow to use the £10 Mr T voucher I got in the post for doing surveys
- Started reading books mum donated to me (will go to the charity shop once they're read)
