Pifco PE151 Electric Throw - Help Please

I have had an electric throw for about a year and yesterday the lights on the controller all started to flash red. I unplugged and left the throw overnight but when I plugged it in again this morning it started flashing again. I have tried the cancel button but nothing seems to work. Please help. I would much rather use my fleece than have to turn the gas fire on to keep warm.

Update: I contacted Pifco through their website and got a reply telling me they would send me a replacement controller. All praise to Pifco for their customer service:)
