Caster V Granulated sugar in BM?

Just that really. Have used caster sugar with wholemeal flour, it tastes fine, if a bit sweet. Does granulated work better. (It's an MR Fastbake by the way)

Makes no difference to the taste, both are as sweet as each other. I use granny becasue i always have that in the cupboardLife's a beach! Take your shoes off and feel the sand between your toes.0

Any kind of sugar will work in bread. you can use honey or treacle too. Heck, you can even leave it out altogether0

Ooooo, my OH thinks my bread is a bit too sweet, so I have reduced the amount slightly.

Just don't leave out the flour or the yeast0

I use either with white flour (whichever is nearest), but use brown sugar with wholmeal flour.Save the earth, it's the only planet with chocolate!0
