Paid off £75 today... so thats £490 left. I need to get a move on if I want to pay this all off by March.. But it's a good feeling to be focussing on this and making a dent that I otherwise wouldn't off... Roll on the NSDs please (fingers crossed lol)

Well done.. that's such a great achievement!! How did you manage to pay so much off in such a short space of time, if you don't mind me asking....

Well, just logged into my Barclaycard account to see that my interest payment for this amount is going to be £6.62 next month - this is a balance of about £500:mad:.

Even more of a kick up the !!! to get this paid off. I had been on 0% for the past nine months and that's why this is a bit of a surprise.

Definitely no going out until this is paid off, not even for a quick drink lol...

go yasmin. you'll manage it. and even if you don't you are still paying more off it than you normally would have done. that's the beauty of this challenge. no one fails as you still finish with less debt than you started with :)

    #1 Here

Well, I found some one foreign banknote in amongst my books when I was taking down the christmas cards last week. I've not had it changed but it's worth around £21, so that's going to Argos, as is the £17.50 unexpected payment from moneysupermarket (from a energy provider swap).

So, it's just a start but:

    38.50/370

    :j

(I've also got a penny jar that I'm emptying at the end of the month)

  • Wow, IWN, you are absolutely nailing it :-)
  • I know - I'd originally only put part of my debt on (it's a 0% BT card that I want to pay off before the 0% ends in about 7 months so I'd put down where I needed to be in 100 days to keep me on target), but I think now I'll add the whole debt on and do my best to clear it all in the 100 days :)

New update to outstanding amount please!
