£46.22 for me today: money from a few bits I sold on Ebay a week or so ago, plus some survey related cash and a massive £2.15 from Quidco.

I'm now on £614.75 of £1,663.42 which is a third of the way there. I love this challenge - I actually feel like I'm getting somewhere! :j

I think I have got everything together for the month of December.
all together my total is now 210.00 so that has paid very and just have the water bill now, that I can pay at the end of this month.
Most of the money came from ebay sales and not much else to be honest, thankfully what I sell is not seasonal so January sales are expected to be down but not buy huge amounts.
So only another 90 pounds left to go.

Wow! What a fantastic start everyone has made! This thread always gives me such inspiration. Well done everyone!

I've finally managed to get my act together again, now that the children (and work) have stopped for Christmas. I must confess that I did let things slide for a little while by letting OH do the food Shopping (!?). But I'm back on track now for the New Year.

£200/£1728.80 the kids don't have any clubs until after payday in January so I've put the club money in the holiday pot already. I must say how excited I am to be doing my Money Jars again. The kids love seeing real money too and it helps them to appreciate just how much school dinners and football subs amount up to every month and OH couldn't believe the positive transformation one simple change has it made to our lives! There's no going back now .

I feel so in control again, which it fabulous! I'm not going to put the food money saved until the end of the week as I don't want to deny us over the Christmas fornight but I will be very strict again in the New Year.
