Claim made July 4th, 1st payment in July 21st, no questionnaire filled in yet (hence I have been contacted)

How could they assess whether the claim was justified? Something sounds very wrong with this.

    Bingo!

I’ve spoken to Atos again this morning, who seem to be of the impression that a ‘hard’ file was sent not once, but twice.

As already stated, I will now be pressing for DPA regardless, as this has legally gone beyond ‘reasonable and proportionate’, in the light that there was a deliberate unauthorised subcontracting, other than ‘in good faith’

Why do I hate the government?!

4.29pm, I’m currently in deadlock with Atos and the DWP. Someone will be with me by 5pm today on both!

Did they bother to ring back?
[greenhighlight]but it matters when the most senior politician in the land is happy to use language and examples that are simply not true.

The impact of this is to stigmatise people on benefits,
and we should be deeply worried about that

I would have been rather suprised if they did bother, incompetance and lies are common place when it comes to trying to sort out benefit problems. At least I certainly find thats the case.

    "deliberate unauthorised subcontracting"

That’s the problem with the system. I’ve then had them phone me yesterday to suggest DLA if I’ve got an ESA application in the system.

In all honesty, I’m in the position where I’m living comfortably on what we have, and could certainly survive on one income now we’ve moved house. We are about to borrow more on a mortgage, as this is the cheapest way, but we’re looking at around 70% equity on a house that is worth over £500,000 after that. One 6-figure income should suffice!

I’d rather place the money in the position where someone that can’t work and doesn’t have the resources to support themselves, as could have been said about myself until VERY recently has that money, as the government is not doing enough to protect all members of society at this time, especially with regard to the new schemes the CONservatives want to introduce re: JSA. £40m t/o, and we’re not big enough to participate in this scheme (not that I’d want to!) This is being reserved for the VERY rich of this world!

    That’s just my opinion, though!
