Incorrectly processed penalty fare

I tried to pay a penalty fare issued to me on 04/11/2011 on the RPSS site https://www.penaltyfares.co.uk and input all the details into the online payment form. I am sure I entered the details correctly but the error message came up that no penalty fares were found with these details. Does this mean they have failed to process the penalty fare correctly and I can avoid paying it?

If they have your name and address right I'm sure they can still chase you for it, through the courts if necessary. The best and honest thing to do is write a letter to RPSS and explain your problem.

You could repost on the CAG forum as it's a specialist forum for this type of Penalty fare problem or give this member 'Stigy' a PM he's also very good with penalty fare problems, they might even have a telephone number for RPSS that you can phone.
