Samsung printer problems!

Have recently purchased a Samsung Ml-1865W. Connected up for wireless to a laptop and desktop. Worked fine for about 24hrs then just stopped printing giving 'document failed to print error' during a print out of a number of documents! Printer would not even print a simple Notepad or Wordpad document. Found that neither desktop or Laptop could print a document. Printer is seen on Router devices attached. Only way to get printer working is to remove and reload printer software for each machine to get them to work. This has happened 3 times this week. I guess that by removing and reloading software it sets the printer back to default? Not sure why this should happen. It just seems to happen on a random basis! Have I missed something or am I doing something silly! It's driving us all nuts!! NB each computer is just connected via wireless to router rather than a network. Hope someone can help. Thanks

Since it is network (wireless) connected then it sounds as though the IP address may be changing. You need to give the printer a static IP address. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
