Lidl dvd player and card reader

Update! My friends managed to get me onw. Burnt two discs tonight - easy as pie. First one updated the firmware, second one to set it to region ) (i.e. region free)

It has gobbled up everything I've thrown at it - DivX, AVI, on cards, DVD-RW, DVD+RW - the lot. Doesn't seem fussy about DivX encoding either which is a huge bonus. All in all, very impressed.

The picture quality through SVideo is ecellent and the audio is crisp and clear.

Recommended if you can get one.

Only downside? Discs are a bit noisy.

Majik, Lidl's website lists XviD among the formats it plays, but it's not in the list on the box. Have you tried that one?

Because of my domestic arrangements (I'm putting someone up so my facilities are squashed, ouch) it'll take a while for me to get set up... in case you're wondering why I haven't got it up & running yet (which of course you're not ).

tried most things , xvid , divx , some stuterry obviously out of range.

Firmware updated to the most recent , WONT run svcd tried two today and just locks.

hi lidl; have got a dvd player that plays all the stuff hubby has got from internet and has a 7 in 2 card reader. divx the lot it plays .great picture and worth £49.99.

the dvd player has played everything ive ever downloaded of the net and i havent even got a dvd writer its played all my cds that i have copied

Been out today and bought 2 of these little beauties and put the firmware update and the region free coding.So far it has played everything that i have thrown in to it DVD/SVCD multi region discs divx.Well chuffed,on the lookout now for the 5.1 speaker kit to go with it.
Any ideas anybody

Yes they are very good,glad i got one:j
