I have used many survey sites over the past 4 years and have sacked them all off now apart from Global Test Market and Pinecone Research as they're the only ones I ever feel I get a payout from.

Global Test usually takes me about 3-4 months to get to 1000 points, which is about £30. I get loads of survey invites but screened out of most. They used to give you 5 points for every survey you were screened out of but they stopped doing that which has definitely slowed things down.

The surveys are often long (25-30mins) and boring and you usually only get 35-40 points for these (about £1). I do this only when I'm bored at work and have nothing better to do with my time, however I don't think I'd do it in my 'free time' as I don't think the rewards are really good enough for time spent.

However I have had several payments from them over the last few years and when the cheques arrive in the post they certainly cheer me up!
