- "I am a former Copper" - yep! I know
- "Paddedjohn has not got a clue mate" - I don't care if he's totally do~lally

- one-Jan 2011 supervising a learner driver was also caught while more than three times over the limit
- two-Sep 2011 he was unaware it was an offence to supervise a learner driver while over the limit
- three-Sep 2011 using a hand-held mobile phone while supervising a learner driver
Brassedoff M8, I wasn't having a pop at you, I did not share your interpretation of the law as it is .. .. and was suggesting you cover your arras by checking it out my friend.Disclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion. Im just glad your not still a copper, you come over as one arogant bas***d who knows it all.
Other Restrictions
When you are supervising a learner driver, you have the same legal responsibilities as if you were driving. For example, the drink drive laws and the ban on using mobile phone applies to anyone who is supervising a learner - you are deemed to be in control of the vehicle.
And as you can see from link in an earlier post this is not a myth at all, 3 cases this year alone. I too like Richie am not having a pop at you im merely pointing out a pitfall in your plan which could end up costing you dearly.;)Be Alert..........Britain needs lerts.0 -

Why thank you for the abuse. Mind you it's mild compared to what I have had over the years protecting people like you and yours!
Thanks for the advice anyway.0
