Egg card PPI help

I wonder if anyone could help please? I am trying to reclaim missold PPI on two Egg Credit cards that I Had about 5 years ago. I gave the account numbers for both. I filled in the standard template letter from this site and sent it to Egg Card PLC at Pride Park Derby.(I have already had two successful claims against other loans/cards using this method):T

I posted the forms several weeks ago and I have heard nothing. When I attempted to contact Egg on the number I have, I was given an alternative number for Barclaycard who appear to have taken over Egg?

When I phone them they seem to have no idea what I am complaining about or what department to put me through to? Any idea what I should do next or who to contact? Thanks

Do you have copies of the documentation and did you get (and keep) proof of posting?

I am afraid I have no doocumentation(just the account numbers which my bank supplied me with) And I also didnt think to keep proof of posting. :doh:

Its about 4 weeks since I sent them. I guess I will leave it for a few more weeks.....Thanks for the reply
