Hi i have a samsung rv510 and i thought it had a hdmi port as there is one on the side but with a bit of rubber on it, i didnt really pay much attention to the rubber bit though, just had my hdmi cable delivered(want to view home videos on laptop on tv) but i cant get the rubber bit out
Is it meant to have a hdmi port?
If i 'dug' the rubber out would there be port behind there or just a hole where one should be?
Thanks all for looking
P.s also if i havent got a hdmi port what would i need to connect the 2
Thanks x

Samsung's own spec for that model does not mention an HDMI port. It's probably there to cover a hole which is used for a different model which shares the same casing.
The chances of them fitting a socket and then hiding it away are close to zero IMO.
What cable you would need depends on what sockets you have on the TV. If it has a VGA socket then VGA to VGA should work.0 -
thanks for that, think ill buy a vga cable as my tv has a place for pc input with what looks to be a vga slot:TIf your happy and you know it clap your hands :T0
