Amazon Mastercard?

Options
Hi,

I buy a lot off amazon, and i was wondering whether it would be worth it to get their mastercard just to use to purchase things off their site to get loyalty points?

I never would use it to spend on things I cant afford, and soon as I bought something i would pay it off instantly- So would that mean I wouldn't be paying interest or anything?

Just wonder what you guys think? A good idea?

I got one for exactly that - bought a Kindle with it, currently 0.0% until 25 July 2012 on all new card purchases

    - you have to run it online, but you can setup a DD to pay it all off if you want each month
  • Thanks, So long as I pay off everything on it strait away I will only ever be paying what i spent?

Pay in full and you're fine, collect points along the way, just be aware it will become your default account on amazon and is paperless, so keep an eye out for the email bill coming through!
  • I used to have an amazon mastercard which was then converted into a Halifax Mastercard with no points collecting or anything like that, thus making it completely useless for me.

The Amazon card is run by MBNA
Debt free and staying that way!
  • I've got an Amazon card. Have made some big purchases on it and it's been nice to get the £10 amazon voucher from it a few times.

Ah, that probably explains it. I assume that Halifax used to run it and got their contract expired, and that's when mine got converted to the standard Halifax offering.
