Oh I am loving this!

Hey guys and gals

I'll be honest with you. For the last few months, my passion for eBay has just not been there like it used to be. There are several reasons for this. Lack of products to sell is deff one of them! But that can't be helped. But I just could not be bothered with it any more.

Anyways, over this weekend my passion has been reignited thanks to my new business idea. I have created a new user ID and I am looking forward to the challange of building up a new successful account, while keeping my other power seller ID there for when I need it. It's all very exciting! I'd love to tell you more but I can't atm.

Anyways, must get back to selling!

Hehe Rach you know only too well if you have a good idea you keep it to yourself. Just making the point that I was so sick and tired of eBay and I didn't think I would be doing much more on it and then it can all change.

Yes, but they drop your power seller badge if you don't keep up the sales. Ebay have already sent me an email that they'll downgrade me fom Silver to Bronze if i don't meet their standards (sales)...Silver after a busy period over xmas.

Thanks for pointing that out Dave. My GMS has just been sliding ever since Xmas so I figured I am going to loose my PS status anyways. I should have it for a few more months yet and will see how it goes. I will probs end up merging accounts if this new one works out.

OK, what do you mean by merging a/c's? I've only ever had one a/c so i don't know what you veterans of eBay get upto. Only been trading since last Sept.

If you have 2 eBay accounts under the same name and address, and can verify they are both yours you can merge them. You send an email to eBay and they ask you for certain info and they will merge them for you. This way if you have started a new account like moi and have another one with loads of feedback, all the feedback goes onto one account and the other one is closed down.

sounds like a handy thing to know! Its a good idea to keep products seperate sometimes so at least if this new idea takes off then you still haven't lost your old feedback!! cool..
