cant send email

I am having problems sending emails this morning, I can receive them ok but when I send I get this message -
"An unknown error has occurred. Subject 'Thought of a night out', Account: 'pop.ntlworld.com', Server: 'smtp.ntlworld.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '421 Cannot establish SSL with SMTP server 81.103.221.11:465, SSL_connect error 10054', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 421, Error Number: 0x800CCC67"
It was all working fine yesterday and I have made no changes to the pc or added any new software. I am using windows mail.
Any ideas?

usual cause with that is an issue connection with the mail server at your ISP.
check their site for any service status updates and / or leave it a while and try again.0 -
