MP3 File Burning to CD

Hi. Just found a problem with burning mp3 files to CD using NERO.

All of a sudden, when checking the disc which has received the tracks its showing a CDA file of 1kb. When I hover the mouse over a track then doub click the file is on there. Before it would save file on new disc as MP3.

Anyone know whats goin on?

try changing it to mp3 format then save to file

If you want to make a CD for a player that is capable of reading and playing MP3 files, you need to make your CD using “Make Data CD” and not “Make Audio CD”. If you use “Make Audio CD”, Nero will ‘flatten out’ the MP3 file into data that a regular old-fashioned CD player can understand. The little 1kB CDA files are Windows way of showing audio data in an Explorer window. They just point the player software at the right part of the audio disc.

Indeed - the files themselves don't actually exist!
