Hi! Why is it that just when you think you have found the perfect high interest savings account, or online shop it all goes pop with one line in the t&c?
Like:
"We may not pay a requested payment, but we will not tell you why, or discuss it".
"All your details will be sent to India".
"We will pass on your details to other 3rd parties, but of course you will be able to stop any mail, or telephone calls, by contacting us". (but they still have all my details).
Anyone else found nasty lines?

A&L.
Except that they don't pay interest in any month that you draw funds.
Otherwise the most straightforward.
What have you found that is better?"Unhappiness is not knowing what we want, and killing ourselves to get it."Post Count: 4,111 Thanked 3,111 Times in 1,111 Posts (Actual figures as they once were))Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.0 -
The perfect savings account is a balance between T&Cs, and the interest rates, eg:
I will pay 14% AER on anything over 50p
I reserve the right to put all the dosh in a suitcase and leg it to Brazil
wouldn't be a good account...0 -
You have some protection under law if a contract is unfairly balanced towards one party.0

Thank you for your replies, and information.
I am still looking for the right savings account, and reading this forum about online shops.0
