Broadband wireless , only 1 bt socket ??

Hi Im moving to a new house,
stupid thing is there is only 1 telephone socket near the front door, do you have to have ur pc connected to the wireless box or does the box just need the line and u can go wireless in with cards and use a splinter for phone as well?
I have Bt wireless

The box needs the line. Get a wireless card (assuming that the router is wireless).
Get a splitter for the phone or an extension system.
Remember that each phone needs a filter (including sky/cable boxes) and that the best adsl signal is from the main socket (i.e. install the router in the original socket not an extension).

Plug the ADSL filter into the main box, then run extensions/splitters etc from the phone-out on the filter.
If you plug a splitter into the main box, then plug in the ADSL filter in one side and extensions in the other, you'll need ADSL filters in all the extensions.0
