Advert misleading. Advice please

I made a purchase on Amazon believeing it to be a case of 24 items. The advert stated it was only available in set of 24, could not be split, and came ina counter top display box. I ordered 2, and only get 2 individual items. Not in any form of box, just a see through bag.
I contacted Amazon, and they have admitted that it was in fact misleading and have changed the advert since my complaint.
What are my rights here? They are asking me what I want. Am I entitled to ask them to fulfil the original advert, as that is what I thought I bought and paid for?

No, you are entitled to be put back where you were before you bought them.
Send them back for a refund.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Technically Amazon have accepted the contract by shipping (some of) the goods, so may be liable to ship the remainder of the goods per the contract.
OP - what does your order acceptance email say about quantities and description?0 -
I would have thought a refund would be the best you could hope for - if it was a genuine mistake then you can ask for them to fulfil your original order, or give you a goodwill discount on the full 24 items, but probably won't be entitled to actually get them.0

They have asked you what you want. There is nothing to stop you answering that you would like them to fulfill the order to your expectations. There is no question of entitlement linked to such a statement. As others have already said, in law Amazon has no obligation to meet your wish so you may be out of luck but nothing ventured, nothing gainedThey are asking me what I want. Am I entitled to ask them to fulfil the original advert, as that is what I thought I bought and paid for?
