This sunday (27th nov) there will be a voucher for free membership for slimming world in the Take it Easy magazine which comes free with the Sunday People (£1). Really good offer as I've known the membership to be reduced from £10 to £5 before but never FREE. :T

Thanks for the reminder about this.
I really need to get back on SW. My 1st Son is 8 1/2 months now and I'm bigger than I was at full term!!  :eek:I love bargains but freebies are better!! ;-)0 -
No worries. I know how hard it is! I kept going to my group all the way through my pregnancy to make sure I didn't eat for two as I was already overweight, but I did well and lost all my baby weight in 6 weeks. Just got to get the rest off now :-) But I've got a cupboard full of the selection boxes from MrT's shouting at me to eat them!0

...... I am on my 2nd bar of Mr T's selection box choccie :oS :OI love bargains but freebies are better!! ;-)0

Any idea if it will work online as I can't get to a group atm
(need to do something - have put on 2 stone over the last 18 months and don't know why. Nothing has changed and I'm more active. Doctor did tests that came back clear so have had the humiliation of being told I'm just fat!)0 -
I would also like to know if it can be used online. Also, after using the code for free membership, how much to you have to pay each week/month?0
-
Not sure about using the code online, but i know class fee is 4.95 a week and 4.65 for seniors0
-
If I remember, their online is quite expensive (I felt compared to the equivalent WW...) I think it's something like £20 per month.
If it was £10, I'd gladly pay it, but personally, I think £20 is too much.
Most likely I'll use this voucher to get updates of the books and do it at home with the help of the various slimming forums out there.0 -

Hey hun, I know what you mean, it just creeps on doesn't it? I can't comment on the online thing cos I've never used it, but I know that my group is a lifesaver. if i didn't go just for that one hour each week, i know I'd go off the rails. I need the discipline of going to the group.
There's usually a group on every day of the week, (unless you live in the sticks), have you checked online for local groups? x0 -
I couldn't do it with my group support, I stay every week however good or bad I've been and always walk out with a smile on my face. If I weighed myself I'd keep making excuses.Be Amazing0
