I have just replaced the log above, after making some changes. Expat Shield I will re-install when overseas again
Google Update/Desktop removed.

Mobile BB used often
Sidebar I like
Tomtom updated monthly
MSN Messenger used - not bothered about other functions of Live
How do I get rid of Acrobat Update?

start, services.msc

disable it

set tom tom to manual instead of automatic, if the next update fails, you can either start it manually or change back to automatic

windows media player network config is also running, and google update which will also be buried in scheduled tasks
