Payment methods

Options
One thing that bugs me is the lack of information that sites offer about payment methods, some do list stuff, but many omit cheques as an option.

can anyone advise which card is
a) No application /annual fee
b) Payments made by cash or cheque'- i am very old fashioned and do not use internet or electronic banking.

Many years ago i had a Barclaycard and just paid it off at the Bank, does this facility still exist?
No fancy card required as i pay in full each month, and not enough to bother with cashback cards.

Any help appreciated.

J.

Bank of scotland and halifax allow credit cards to be paid in branch and by cheque.

Most, if not all, high street banks, will offer a credit card that you can pay in branch.

Have you thought of setting up a direct debit? You don't need to have internet banking for this - they send you a statement in the post, and it'll say on it when they'll collect the payment from your current account. Much easier than having to make a trip to the branch!
