hello,
I've recently seen adverts saying that some credit card debt can be cancelled due to changes to credit act. Anyone know if this is true? If so, what are the consequences?
thanks

Rarely the bank will allow you to cancel your agreement with them, but you'll still be held liable for all outstanding debt.
There's only one way of cancelling debt without paying it back, and it also ensures no one giving you any credit at all for over 6 years afterwards. Even utility companies will be asking you for a deposit.0
