does it work wired with an ethernet cable?
encryption is scrambling the signal so that your neighbours can't attach to your network.Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0 -
i can get dial up on it
that wot i am using now
which incidentally seems to be faster than the broadband when i could access the web pagesNice to save.0 -
I meant wired to an ethernet network port, with one of these.

Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0 -

Do you have a netgear wireless router, with 4 ethernet ports as seen in the picture, and an ethernet cable, and an ethernet port on your PC/laptop?
If so, wire it up, and try it..
Alternatively, put the phone lead back in the router, and try,
start, run, cmd
ping https://www.google.com
I am trying to see if your problem is a PC/IE problem, a wireless problem, a router problem, or a adsl problemEver get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0
