Hi All
Just got a letter from nPower saying that my 'Online 20' deal is coming to a close on the 31st December and from 1st Jan I am being moved to 'Go Save Economy 7/Monthly Direct Debit'
The Rates are (Inc VAT);
Unit rate, up to and including 728 kWh per year 27.78p
Unit rate over 728 kWh per year 18.43p
Night unit rate 5.15p
They given me the option to choose another tariff if I want but I don't know which one offers the lowest rates (without a standing charge). I have to stay with nPower as I owe them a £150 and my payment plan doesn't end until March.
Can anyone shed any light on this? I've look at their website and I'm no further forward.

If it wasn't for the mistakes I made in the past (and learned from), I wouldn't be who and where I am today. It doesn't matter if you've cocked up, what matters is that you put it right and apologise. x

I suggest that you search without specifying NSC. What matters is the total annual cost, not the components. Tariffs with NSC invariably make it up with higher unit rates-so the end result is almost identical. And make sure you use fixed monthly DD as the payment option.No free lunch, and no free laptop0

Npower is notoriously expensive for Economy 7 Electricity. I'm stuck and unable to change (courtesy of Landlord) and its 18p KW/H daytime rate is just a blatant p*$$take especially as most E7 customers have to use some peak rate for heating during cold spells, so i'm not surprised that you find them £102.71 more expensive, its really not hard to find a more competitive E7 tariff, generally its ANY supplier but NPOWER, and you'll probably end up saving some money through choosing them over Npower - whoever they are. LOL
I've actually moved to Paraffin for my main source of heat as its around 10p KW/H than Npower's daytime rates, if I had the space i'd even be running a Veg Oil powered Lister and getting rid of them altogether!."Dont expect anybody else to support you, maybe you have a trust fund, maybe you have a wealthy spouse, but you never know when each one, might run out" - Mary Schmich0 -
If the account is in your name and you have your own meter, your landlord cannot dictate which utility supplier you use.No free lunch, and no free laptop0
