so, last night I was perusing my pictures, ready to write a blog post from my phone, when I realised - that aside from the 11 I'd taken last night - they'd all disappeared!!!!
instantly panicking I Googled it - disappearing pictures from micro SD card and was comforted by the fact many people have experienced this and some simple card recovery software can fix it. there were bundles of links and I spent a few hours reading reviews and chose www.cardrecovery.com. Unfortunately after an hour scan found 30,000 'possible' JPGs that could be recovered, I got a message to say I'd need to pay $40 ish, if I wanted to actually recover them. Super...
I did some more googling, and I found that most of the programs have a cost. So, please can you tell me:
1. Have you used any card recovery software?
2. Does it work?
3. Should I pay or is there free software available?
4. Is there any way I can do this on my own?
Thanks
