If you have, could you give me the quick low down on which Fridge manufacturers came out best please.
I know I can sign up to a free trail, but knowing me, I'll forget to cancel it and be charged. So I'd rather not.
Cheers

I have, and work is quiet...

Any particular model you're looking at? I can see if they've reviewed it...
Looking at fridges (not fridge freezers), they have 26 Best Buys. These are a mixture of tall fridges and under-counter ones. The top five are made by (in order) Beko, Lec, Frigidaire, Beko, Neff.
Glancing down the list I see several by Beko, Bosch and Frigidaire. Smeg are on there six times but it looks like the same fridge in six different colours to me.
They also have a brand reliability table - top scoring brands for reliability are Siemens, Bosch, Neff, Beko and Frigidaire. Miele, Bosch and Siemens are rated best for aftercare.
We recently bought a Bosch under-counter fridge that we really like if you're looking for recommendations.0 -
Lotus Eater,
Do sign up for £1. It is just superb. I've just moved house and they've avoided me buying the wrong fridge, washing machine and vacuum cleaner. They've even told me the best buy for electricity and gas. I also found my removal company on which local. They were great too.
Superb. PS I brought a beko tall fridge. Delivered via Sainsburys and it was unpacked, the rubbish taken away and the delivery men were very polite. Unbelievable. Worth every penny.:j0 -
Ahh, that's very kind of you.pinkteapot wrote: »I have, and work is quiet...

I'm thinking about the
Bosch Classixx KSR38N11GB
atm, but that may be liable to change
So as you say Bosch is one of the best, that sounds good.
I have heard good things about Liebherr as well, like
http://www.greenandeasy.co.uk/product/liebherr-k-4220-larder-fridge.aspx
But that does seem very expensive!Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -
Honestly I'm terrible. It would end up costing me loads!killmymortgage wrote: »Lotus Eater,

Which don't have a review of that specific model I'm afraid.
Which certainly like Bosch and personally I do too. When I moved out of home 7 years ago mum gave me her old Bosch fridge-freezer which was at least 5 years old at the time. For the last 18 months it's been in our garage as we moved to a house with separate undercounter fridge and freezer. Despite being old and being in the garage through that awful winter last year, it's still going strong.
We recently got a Bosch undercounter fridge (bought a cheap Proline from Currys when we moved in - bad decision - became very noisy after 13 months!) and are chuffed with it.
In terms of price, we got our new Bosch from Appliances Online - www.appliancesonline.co.uk
I was nervous buying an expensive electrical item online but they were so much cheaper than all other stockists for our particular model that I decided to chance it. Service was very good; I'd recommend them.0 -
Have just noticed that Which reviewed the KSR30N11GB which I'm guessing might be an earlier version of the same thing.
That scored 79% and is a best buy. They said it was easy to set up and use, has low running costs and faster-than-average chilling of items put in it at room temperature. It also gets their 'energy saver' badge for its efficiency (about a third of the best buy fridges have this). The only con they listed was that it was relatively expensive.0 -
Thankyou very much.
