Am looking to setup my own local events website and came across a site called Brit Events http://www.britevents.com/
I want to use whatever software they use for events listing but don't know what they are using. Any ideas?

The site looks like a modified wordpress theme as for the events listing, it could be a script that has been adapted from dynamicdrive.com.
Since when was Wordpress written in ASP?<iframe src="/inc/functions/register.asp" frameborder="0" class="m0 b0 w100" scrolling="no" style="height:220px"></iframe>
Given searching for the city "London" gives no results I am not sure the site is working too well anyway.
Personally wouldnt want to copy any site without seeing what its back end is like, can be very dirty. I'd also not recommend anyone build anything in classic ASP either. At a minimum it should be PHP, or my preference would be .Net.0 -
Surely facebook is the thing for local events promotion. A Facebook app to combine local users' (eg pubs, sports clubs, etc) events into a calender type thingy. Means the admin has little to do..0

So it's none of the current crop of Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal CMS systems then? Hmmmnnn. Not going to copy anyone's site anyway that would be plagiarism.
Thanks all for the input :-)Yellowlawn
