in Credit cards
I have a few credit cards that I'm paying high intrest rates on, over the past year I have been focussing on reducing down the balances on these, however because of the rates I'm on the balances are taking longer to reduce.
It's over a year since I last applied for a credit card, think it was Sainsburys and was declined, 6 months previous to that I got the Santander Zero card and transferred a balance to there on 0% (now expired)
I have cards with Barclaycard, Halifax, Mbna and Santander, so know my options are limited.
Does anyone know of any cards that would be worthwhile applying to? My credit score is good, no defaulted payments, payments made in time etc.

Tesco - 16months 0%
Natwest/ RBS - 20months 0%
Nationwide - 17months 0%
Post Office - 14months 0%
Of course as well as your score they will also take into account that you already have several cards and will look at how much debt and credit you already have compared to your income, so your credit history alone won't mean you'll be accepted - but you could try one or 2 of the above. .A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
Thanks for that Tixy, applied to Nationwide. "Agreed in principle" so will wait and see if they go ahead and accept. If not I'll keep on paying what I'm paying and try again with one of the others in 6 months time.
Thanks again.0
