paying for a holiday - use a CC?

Will have to pya the balance of our holiday soon and not sure how to pay. Have heard it is wise to pay by CC as this gives you extra protections but the company in question charge 1% ish (£18.8)for using CC. It is Virgin so don't really anticipate any problems but just wanted advice.

thanks in advance

  • Personally I would pay the extra for the Section 75 CCA protection.
I know it is a pain but IMO worth paying in this instance.
  • If you have a cashback credit card can you not offset the charge against the cashback you will get anyway (eg egg money card etc)...

That said I've booked with BA and paid debit card rather than incur a very small fee as I've assumed all will be fine (and it has been!).
