Tesco Life Insurance - Clubcard points

Following a tip from MSE followers I took out a life insurance policy from Tesco recently purely to bag the clubcard points on offer. However, I can't remember the minimum period I need to retain the insurance for to qualify! And I cannot find the original thread. Can anyone help please? Thank you

In that case i suppose it is then.

God help Friends Life - that must be costing them a fortune going out for GPRs etc for the sake of £15!

If you keep your eyes open, their are often enhanced cashback offers (over £100) via the usual cashback sites for keeping a £5/month policy a minimum 6 months (and they give you the "free" gift too - eg £30 in M+S vouchers after 1 month!)
  • I took out 2 policies when it was posted and have just been credited with one lot of points, delighted!

Just back from Mr T's and have noticed on my receipt 6000 extra clubcard points :j:j:j

well pleased as i didn't think they would be put on until January.

As far as the life insurance goes we have both decided to keep it going as quite a good deal for what we are paying and its nice to know that we have a bit of security if something happens to either of us, so just to say cheers to the original OP as im sure this will make things easier in the future :beer:

  • I am still waiting for my second lot of points to be credited, third premium was taken at the end of December. Is anyone else still waiting or should I chase it up?
