Wedding Present Idea for Groom from Bride

  • I got him a personalised card which said "See you at 2", and some special cufflinks that I knew he'd love. It was a bit of a budget present, but he appreciated it :)

(Although, even with all the hinting he didn't get me anything! :rotfl: )

That'll be my OH, mind I wouldn't even know what I would want to be honest
  • I know a few people here have written to various sports teams and got letters from them as gifts for the groom - if he's a fan of a particular team maybe that might be an idea?

Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")
Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")

Umm - Do you think that might work for a band..???
  • I might see what tickets are out nearer the time (comedy/music) and book a night or weekend away for us both as his gift since we won't be having a honeymoon. Plus like I said he is unlikely to think of buying me a gift so it can double as my gift too, my OH is always telling me when you buy a gift you need to think about how the gift will benefit you too :rotfl:

I've got MrD something rude for the bedroom :o (Not undies! lol)
The plan is to wrap it up, hide it in his overnight bag to take with him to his mums (where he'll be staying the night before) and write on it to open in complete privacy. I cannot wait to see his face at the other end of the aisle to guess what dirty thought he's having :rotfl:

He'd be too scared to open it in public - besides he'll be the only one who I'll tell he has a gift :)!!

  • We had decided not to get eachother a present but I'm making him a groom journal, I've copied loads of questions from websites and I'm going to write my answers to them. I've also bought some scrapbooking things like stickers and embellishments to stick in it. I wanted him to read all my thoughts about him, us, how we met etc etc and I know he likes personal things. I'm going to give it to his best man to give to him the night before with a little message saying I'll see him at 1pm :)
