Hello.
I don't know if this is in the correct section.
I have to go to funeral this Friday and i will need to get to the church and then to the burial and then onto where the wake will be and eventually on my way home.
I don't have a sat nav but for that day i think some sort of help would be handy.
I have a Samsung S5620 which says it has gps on the phone and i have been told that there is free sat-nav software available for the phone. The phone is not a smartphone but on my t-mobile i have unlimited data so that will help.
Has anybody got some suggestions that may help please.
Vince.

Are you travelling with another person? If you dont have a car mount (to hold the phone on the windscreen/dash) then you will need someone else to keep an eye on the phone and guide you, otherwise you will find yourself driving whilst holding the phone and looking down at it constantly.
Google maps will work fine. You can set a route and simply follow it. The phone will show your position and you just take each junction as it comes. Not sure if every version has built in navigation with google maps, if yours does there will be an option called navigate, this works well although the turn-by-turn voice is so infuriating that you will probably mute it! Have a play with it before the day to be sure you know how to work it and set a route.
Does this phone run on android? Whatever OS it uses you should have a market where you download apps. Search navigation and see what free ones are available.0
