Setup Redirect on sites

Hi,

I was wondering if someone would help me setup a redirect through my web hosting (and advise me on what kind of web package I'd need just for using all domains for redirects), as the domain people don't have what I need.

I want it so it redirects to the one link whether user goes to https://www.mysite.com or https://www.mysite.com/asfdswadf or https://www.mysite.com/.afa3

If the web host runs Apache web server you can do it using a 301 redirect via the .htaccess file - see http://www.tamingthebeast.net/articles3/spiders-301-redirect.htm.

If it runs Microsoft IIS it's a bit more difficult as the web host administrator needs to set up the redirect for you, unless they provide DIY tools.
