Have to ask as for the last 5 years my family and i have had a little plastic card that gives us free prescriptions and nhs dental treatment. However this year we have not
i'm on disability benefits for the last 6 years, my wife works part time and i have a daughter at secondary school. We have had no pay rises accept the few pence the benefits go up annually.
Should i be asking why? Or am i being stupid and things have changed. Can anyone help me out?
I know they say call the benefits agency but i've tried and been told if you qualify we will send one?
What a joke!
Thks in advance for any help and advice

If you need to claim any free prescriptions, you just sign and they will check on whether you are entitled. If you need free dental treatment or glasses, they will usually ask you to take your letter confirming your entitlement to benefits with you. You don't need that card.
Your letter confirming benefits will state what free treatment(s) you are entitled to."There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0 -
I had this, they told me to ring the NHS prescription helpline. Luckily for me i am medically exempt as well. Maybe you could ring them, im sure someone on here will have a number, i threw it once i rang them xThe feeling i got when i confirmed my place studying criminology at Exeter Uni was brilliant!!!!!
The pride my children told me they had in me was even better!!!!! # setting positive example to children is OUTSTANDING!!!! !:grouphug::grouphug::smileyhea:smileyhea:smileyhea:smileyhea:smileyhea:smileyhea:smileyhea0
