I just order a shedload of Rayovac batteries from SVP. The manufacturer claims they are as good as Duracel. We'll see. They're certainly cheap as chips (if you order a lot to make up for postage)

See the following independent review of batteries:

I bought and used some Rayovac batteries several years ago when I was in the USA. They do perform well.

    Rayovac website is:

I also bought loads of these.

My digital camera would only work on aa lithium batteries, costing £3.99 for 2. The 40p AA 4pk batteries run it fine! Supprising as duracell and energiser and morrisons ones don't.

    Would really recommend these!

wow - thats crazy - why not buy nimh batteries instead better for most things that need batteries (except smoke alarms and other trickle usage/low power items)....works out much cheaper long term.....bought 40 AA 2700 mah batteries from ebay (vapextech seller) for 33.25 inc postage.....charger isnt much more. I suspect but could wrong but these are better for the environment because there is less wastage
