23Oct2011 - Lucy and her babies going to their new homes :)

I had Dizziee sleeping with me all night - well, running up and down me/the bed
- and the old girl in her usual place.
She let him eat from her bowl - with her - this morning
The fluffy girl is getting closer to inspect him now, too. I can see she wants to get up on the sofa for fuss as well, but isn't quite that comfortable yet.
I've got a tub of the powdered kitten milk, as the girls love milk away (but one can't have cows' milk without a terrible tummy) and I'm going to try that - it has to be cheaper than the little boxes - and it'll be warm, rather than refrigerated. I do have some very fussy animals here, don't I?
Once I can bear to move him (he's asleep on my leg), I'm off shopping for a bit.
Oh. He's purring again [melts]. I'm not going anywhere.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -

Just had an email and a photo from JenniferLucy is doing OK, crying a lot for the kittens at first but somewhat less now. She's not hiding at all, but likes to lie down in doorways and halls - I think a sign of anxiety but hopefully she will feel at home here. I can really tell she's a street cat, scrabbling through the bin to lick a yoghurt lid and so on! Hopefully she'll get used to the idea that there's plenty to eat and no need to eat it all in 10 seconds.
So yes, Lucy is settling in well....
Today auntie Sheila came over [STRIKE]for coffee[/STRIKE] to play with Macius - she got him so tired that he slept for 2 hours afterwards...LOL0 -
I think it's great that this little cat & her kittens have all got the best start in life,Lucy is in her forever home after a uncertain start & all because someone cared enough to help her out.
If anyone want's to see what compassion looks like, here's a prime example!0 -

Zara is tottaly in "I am his mum" mode...... I mean tottaly.....
Macius was terrified of her for the first .. day perhaps.... She constantly check on him, if he cries whe is with him like a shot, I mean absolutely tottaly in love..
Still, got to watch her because of her size so she does not accidently step on him but he is completely fine with her and she loves him to bits....
All my 3 boys are as good as gold with the baby now - after the first day hissing and "I am not too sure WHAT is THAT"..
All blissssssssssssssssssssssssss

Macius was VERY sleepy and tired so does not move like he normally oes (FAST) on the clips - all due to auntie Shela having been earlier and plaing with him non stop LOL0

Auntie Sheila here - just joined MSE to get updates on these furbabes. Am also lightly knackered from playing with Mashyuss (sp?) and Zara this morning.
Hope everyone has a good week-end.0
