I'm always surprised when I mention cashback sites to my friends and they've never heard of Quidco or Topcashback - I see adverts for them all the time! I always recommend TopCashback, I've earnt well over £500 last year so definatly suggest anyone one not using these sites do so at once!0

Yay! My first Topcashback earnings became payable yesterday! Just received my £5 NoBrainers bonus through paypal now as aswell.
Good to hear it! I should get mine through soon too then! :T0 -
I use Quidco & topcashback. I've only just started with TCB really this year, so can't comment on them. I'm only 1 year in with Quidco proper. I save my money until December & then pay it out as a sort of Xmas bonus if you will. Last year i bagged £206, so not bad for Xmas.DollyMixture wrote: »Hi,
Just wondering if anyone else here has made much money from cashback websites? It seems there's a fair amount of free cash just to be made just from doing the free trials? I thought I remembered seeing a site on here that listed them all but can't seem to find it now.
Thanks!
If i'm buying anything online, i check Quidco/TCB first for the best deal. If on neither, i check to see if the retailer is listed on Nectar. If not there then i'm out of luck.
I don't BUY anything just because there's an offer on. I only buy things i would be buying anyway.
However i have APPLIED For things just because of an offer (Post Orifice Credit Card & Santander current account) because they don't actually cost me anything to apply.
Although i can see how people could easily get carried away & buy a load of stuff that they wouldn't normally buy, just because there's a deal on.0 -
I must admit, I do get things just for the cashback. But (touchwood) I've not been caught out yet. I joined a few bingo sites and online casinos where the cashback you get is more than the amount you have to bet. Probably made about £150 that way! I always use a different browser to do Topcashback purchases, just to make sure it tracks!0

I always look forward to insurance renewals too - thats around £80 cashback each usually for them.0

I'm wondering whether cashback sites are right for me. I do buy online, mainly electronics but not too many, and events / restaurant meals but I doubt these are tracked.
If there are clothing brands, I don't normally buy a lot of clothes and normally do it in store, but I do need several new pairs of trousers. I also have been thinking about doing my weekly shop online. I do normally prefer to shop at the Coop though!
So I think I'll give TCB a try because it's free, and see how it goes for a few months.
The problem is, if I already buy so much from discount sites or Groupon rather than full price anyway, would the cashback route make much difference?Saving £10,000 in 2013: £4491.48/£10,0000 -
Thanks for your answer, I'll give it a try as I've noticed they have some brands I may buy from - I've just realised basically that while in percentage I buy most of my stuff online except meals out, I don't actually but that much in the first place! But it's still useful for when a big spend is coming up.CorderroyJoe wrote: »Hi Londoner, you'd be surprised how much you use a cashback site once you join! You say you use Groupon? You can get cash back there. Electronics - When BestBuy was around you could get 12% back at one point. Ever go on holiday? Jet2, flybe etc all on there, not to mention all the hotel websites and chains - often at 10% back. Insurance is usually a biggy though, you can get the best part of £100 on car & home insurance!Saving £10,000 in 2013: £4491.48/£10,0000 -
At one point, I was religiously changing my gas and electricity every 6 months to get the £50 cashback, that would pay for a couple of months! I0

Signup Offer seems to have changed now. Looks like NoBrainers now pay the £5 bonus directly into your Topcashback account instead of paypal/amazon voucher. Guess that's better as you can withdraw straight to your bank.0 -

Seems useful. In fact ther's an easy £17 to be made there with the Netflix cashback offer on at the moment (£5 signup bonus + £12 netflix free trial cashback).0
