Anyone communte over this regularly in the morning? Getting Eurotunnel at 950 on a monday morning so aiming to get there for around 850-900 means I'll be crossing around. 730-745 which I presume is peak time.

Any idea how long I need to add to my journey?

What time is it busiest?

    Even at it's busiest, the traffic is usually always moving. I've never done it first thing, but the evening rush hour adds about 20 mins if it's backed up to Thurrock.

    We caught ferries before but normally over by 7-730 and its always been OK. Might be 8am this time so didnt know if it would be much worse.

    Allow plenty of extra time. There are roadworks on the M25 (J27 and J28) and the traffic every day is very slow. The Dartford Crossing is notoriously unpredictable.
