Self Sufficiency Book @ WHSmiths

WHSmiths are currently doing this book:
New Complete Book Of Self Sufficiency- Amazon Link
for £5, reduced from £20. Obviously it's not *just* about growing things, but it has loads about it, and is a damn good read anyway :D

wow thats a good price. I bought my copy last summer for my birthday and it was £20. Its a very useful book with loads of good advice. The planting year and plot through the seasons. It's also got a wishful thinking bit about larger land areas and keeping livestock.

That looks very interesting. Especially the bit about brewing ales and wine:beer:
  • I got mine for £6.99 from thebookpeople.co.uk with a free p&p code, this is an even better bargain !
  • I went to our WHSmith earlier and they had it for £10. I just looked on their website and there it's for sale at £6, strange
